Group Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in Group Volunteering! We love hosting groups as volunteering is a great way to build team unity and accomplish large projects. Whether you’re coming out for a workday on our community farm, working with our Back-Farms program, or harvesting with FruitShare, get ready to have fun working outside together!

In order to make group volunteering enjoyable and impactful for all involved, please consider the following:

• Group Volunteering events are designed for groups of 6 or more. If that’s not you, check out the regularly scheduled volunteer opportunities found in our weekly newsletter and have your group register for an event.

• ​There is a $5 fee for each person who does not show up. Because we organize volunteer events based on the number of people who are planning to attend, it is extremely important to provide an accurate count of adults and children in your group. For every person planned for who is a no show Please let us know as soon as possible if your group size changes.  

• Youth events are $5 per youth. This ensures that we can properly staff and coordinate the volunteer event. Email pickfruit@gulb.org for more info.

• Children are welcome! Be sure to read our child policy.
